Filling the gap, restoring the bite
Loss of one or more teeth can change the way you chew, speak, and feel about your smile. A dental bridge is a fixed restoration made up of one or more prosthetic teeth that permanently replace what is missing. It improves chewing function, prevents adjacent teeth from shifting, and gives you back a complete, natural-looking smile.
How a bridge works
The bridge is anchored to healthy teeth on either side of the gap (or to a dental implant), holding the replacement tooth securely in place. Unlike a removable denture, a bridge stays put — you brush and floss around it like your own teeth.
Why replace a missing tooth?
- Adjacent teeth begin to drift toward the gap, changing your bite
- Bone loss can develop in the area where a tooth used to be
- Chewing becomes uneven, and food can be harder to break down
- A complete smile boosts confidence in everyday interactions
Bridges have been a staple of effective dental treatment for decades and the results typically look and feel natural. During your consultation we will discuss whether a bridge or a dental implant is the better option for your situation.
"I got in an accident during a race and fractured my teeth. After seeing our team, I do not have to hide my smile anymore and now it is back to business." — Pablo
